"One hour of meditation is better than sixty years of worship." (Hadith) (as-Suyuti, al-Jami as-Saghir, p. 365, Hadith no: 5897)
Meditation has a unique status in the history of spiritual tradition. The Sufi saints have always given importance to meditation in their literature & practice. In meditation, a person takes account of his inner-self (batin) and observe that how was my past spent? Where am I now? And what I have done to improve my inner-self for future? A moment of meditation makes a person aware of his spiritual, moral & ethical state. Meditation not only provides spiritual benefits, but it also improves a person’s thinking & intellectual insight. It also cures a person from mental confusion depression & stress. Zawiyat-ul-Muraqaba (meditation hall) is a beautiful place to sit & reflect upon your present, past & future. Its purpose is to revive the traditional practices of meditation.
